About the position

Örnekullsvägen 20B is a group home within LSS located in Hjärnarp. The accommodation has 6 places with a focus on 55+.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant at the LSS residence, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for providing daily care, cooking, and activities. Since the focus is on 55+, the residence has a clientele where a large part of the residents have extensive care needs.

In addition, you will work together with pedagogical methods and approaches where visual support, sign language/TAKK, daily outdoor activities, cooking, and various other household chores are part of the daily work.

Collaboration with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, as well as nurses and relatives/legal representatives is a natural part of the work. The job requires that you can manage a medication delegation.

The work has great opportunities to be creative in creating daily activities and engaging the residents, and therefore requires your ability to be independent in your work and take your own initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a professional certificate.

You are an engaged and secure person who enjoys adapting everyday life to the individual. You are good at having a low-arousal approach and meeting people at the level they are at. It is important to us that you are an independent person who sees what needs to be done in the daily work and takes your own initiatives to create a good quality of life for the residents.

You also have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious

• education in sign language/TAKK
• experience with the LSS target group
